From the husband and wife filmmaking team of Lichelli Lazar-Lea (writer/director) and Antonio Del Prete (actor/producer) comes “The Truth About Angels,” a cautionary tale about one man, one night and the Hollywood party that will forever change his life.

Pablo (ANTONIO DEL PRETE) is a man at a crossroads; conflicted with his responsibilities to his wife (MONIQUE GABRIELA CURNEN) and child, and his dream of being a successful artist in the alluring world of Hollywood. When Pablo gains entrance to an exclusive, drug and sex-fueled Hollywood party through his old friend turned movie star, Kane Connor (SIMON REX), he begins a profoundly disturbing journey to the dark side of the all that glitters. Enchanted by beautiful party girl, Kristi (DREE HEMINGWAY), Pablo suddenly finds himself on a collision course between morality, immorality and mortality.

“The Truth About Angels” was edited by Craig Hayes who was nominated for Best Editing at the Milano International Film Festival (MIFF Awards). The cast is a go-to list of up and coming young American actors including Candice Accola (TV’s “The Vampire Diaries”). The wardrobe was provided by BCBG/Max Azria, Royal Underground and Diesel. The Soundtrack was put together by Music Supervisor Rebekah Touma, and includes tracks from hot LA based artists Dirt Nasty, West Indian Girl, DJ Mark Lewis and Lemon Sun. The Original Score is by Italian, Warner Chappell composer, Enrico Sabena, who was acclaimed for one of the best scores at the 2007 Berlin Film Festival. Sabena put together an amazing ensemble of musicians, including Ennio Morricone’s cellist, Kyung-Mi Lee.
